Coalition of Advocates for Change in Addiction Treatment (CACAT)
About Us
CACAT is managed by Addiction Recovery Communities of California (ARCC), which is a committee of the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP), but it has a separate membership (and it’s free to join). Membership offers your organization the opportunity to participate in monthly meetings where we feature updates on state legislation and proposed regulations that affect patient access to addiction treatment and recovery, access to our monthly newsletter, an opportunity to impact policy and legislation in California, access to a convening of addiction recovery advocacy organizations, and much more.
Join Us!
The Coalition of Advoacates for Change in Addiction Treatment (CACAT) invites your organization to consider joining our coalition. For the last few years, the CCARA has provided a forum for advocacy and discussion among addiction recovery organizations. The membership consists of non-profit and for-profit addiction recovery organizations, patient advocacy groups, state agency/department representatives, national associations/California chapters.
